Dear Dr. O
Thanks for your precious time and the effort to reply to my queries.
Could you please elaborate --- "Bifocal may slow the progression of myopia and the use of glasses specifically for the computer to decrease accommodation during work". Will the eyecare practitioner at India able to provide me the correct specs for computor work (anti-glare and some difference in power) also what should be the power of the bifocal spectacles?
Please help to stabilize this progressive myopia.
Also regarding this reply "I do not know the risk of your offspring developing high myopia. It also depends on your spouse. "---- I wish to say that my would-be is having no eye refractive error. Does it say that my offsprings will not have so high power myopia like me?
But for your information, nobody in my family has so high myopia (neither dad nor mom , also not even my grandparents)

Only your doctor can suggest what is best for you, but the above website contains a wealth of information on Visian ICL including a comparison chart which compares Visian ICL to Lasik and PRK:

Since you have high myopia & progressing one, I suggest you to continue wearing glasses as eye surgeries can cause various complications like dry eyes, retinal detachment, cataract & other infections.
Your best option is the ICL. You are beyond the range of LASIK for a good result. The major risk of an ICL (depends on the type) is cataract. Also, you have a higher risk of retinal detachment due to your high myopia if you develop cataract and have surgery.
I do not know the risk of your offspring developing high myopia. It also depends on your spouse.
Bifocal may slow the progression of myopia and the use of glasses specifically for the computer to decrease accommodation during work.
Dr. O.
