Blepharitis and Exercise

Hi. My partner was diagnosed with Blepharitis 6 months ago, and has had varying levels of relief from the pain and swelling this condition produces. It seems that when she does very little during the day (mainly due to the pain), the following day she is normally better. However, when she is feeling better, and if she does an hour's aerobic exercise,  the following day, she is back in an immense pain and the swelling returns. I have to point out that during exercise as a teacher, she gets very hot to the point that she perspires quite a lot. Is exercise / sweat / temperature known to make Blepharitis flare up, and if so can somebody explain why. The problem is she had to give up her job due to the pain she was in and so teaching exercise is now her only outlet. If she has to give this up too, then she feels there isn't really a future for her. I can't seem to find any literature in this area, so any advice would be much appreciated.
Thanks

Ive been diagnosed with blepharitis. i was really struggling with my call centre job looking at computer/aircon. weirdly and i don't know why but drinking lots of milk helps. Id started avoiding milk and as soon as i started drinking it it was a wave of relief. I'm not sure why i assume there's some minerals/vitamins  in it that help tear flow and maybe inflammation? also i stopped jogging as it makes blepharitis worse. i am ok with walking  so at the minute I'm trying fast/power walking which seems ok. its worse in left eye than right. i drink  3 quaters of a cup of milk in the morning and at night and its made it more manageable.

I have never had a person tell me that before: milk make better, exercise work.   Look into getting a prescription for Avenova eyelid cleaner.

i have the same eye condition. exercise makes it worse.. the burning.. it lasts for about 3 days before it subsides.. i have no idea how to help myself.. been to all sorts of MDs and holistic drs..i don't want to give up my exercise routine but it makes the condition so much worse.. tried acupuncture and that doesn't help. i have had this for almost 9 years.. got it at 16.. it is bad everyday.. with no direction to turn.. anyone have this and beat it ?!

Two thoughts: Blepharitis - there is a product by OcuSoft that is a Foaming Lid Cleanser.  I was having terrible problems with blepharitis last summer and then I saw a research study on the web about the OcuSoft product and so I tried it. I had terrific results - even better than baby shampoo and no irritation. No more stys, chalzions, weeping eyes, pink eye, etc.  I cut up cloth baby diapers into squares and two or three times a day I scrub lids, eyebrows, bridge of nose, then throw square out. Maybe she could use right before and right after exercise.  Ocusoft has a website and you can order over internet.  Other thought - Migraines can be one sided and around eye and bridge of nose and the pain can feel like sinuitis. Exercise can bring them on or make them worse. Has she been checked for migraines?

Thanks for responding John. She has seen several opthalmologists / optometrists who have all diagnosed the same thing. However, she has also had pain around the bridge of her nose and under her eyes, which (under my own non medical diagnosis) could indicate sinusitis. Is it possible that sinus problems are inflaming the eyelids / making the Blepharitis symptoms worse, as the pain and swelling all started around the time she had a virus? Are there other eye diseases that could cause this swelling and hence level of pain?

This doesn't sound like blepharitis to me and like any Eye MD I've seen thousands and thousands of cases of it. I would get a second opinion from a cornea/extrernal disease opthalmologist.
