Was my pre-cataract vision mono or possibly mini-monovision?

My pre-cataract vision
-------------------------------
Right eye was always near sighted.  Left eye always had good near, intermediate, and distance vision.

Without glasses or contacts I had great near and intermediate vision.  Distance vision was good.  I could drive, read a book or menu, use a computer, and watch TV just fine without glasses or contacts.

About half the time I wore contacts  -0.50 LE, -2.50 RE.  These contacts gave me very good distance vision that was sharply focused.  I could also watch TV without problems but needed OTC cheaters to use a computer or read a book.  Even with this -2.0 difference between eyes I had absolutely no known depth perception problems.  While wearing the contacts I always passed my optometrist's depth perception test.  The test had you looking at pictures of buttons, and you have to tell which buttons are "in" or "out".

Does the above information indicate a natural mono or mini-monovision condition?

Currently
------------
I have a right eye cataract, level 3.

The surgeon I've chosen recommends target of -0.50, in order to make both eyes equal.

Would choosing an IOL to mimic my pre-cataract RE contact lens prescription of -2.50 give me back my pre-cataract vision?

Caveat and final question
-----------------------------------
I currently have severe macula pucker due to 2013 ERM peel that left some ERM on the retina.  After cataract surgery I may have ILM peel (recommended by Dr. Steve Charles in Tennessee).

I'm currently wearing a -10.0 Alcon soft contact lens in my RE.  It gives a BCVA between 20/60 and 20/80, depending on the day, who's testing me, and the conditions of the test (overhead light glare, poorly defined Snellen chart, etc).

I don't know how much of my poor BCVA is caused by the macula pucker, and how much is caused by my level 3 cataract.

Will the macula pucker cancel any/all/some chance that an IOL target of -2.50 will return me to my pre-cataract VA?
