What age do you develope lattice degenneration

am 50 and have regular exams. -5.00 my opthamoligist has never tld me I have ANY retnia problems period. IF I did wouldn't he have told me ?? Also if I had lattice degen would he see it with the dialtion exams and told me ??

Just very scared about ever having retnia problems or loosing sight

Lattice can occur at any age and can progress with aging.

i see no problem with my glasses, what age did you develope that ?? I think the lattice degen is different though

When  I could no longer see small print with glasses  I was told I had macular dystrophy and could have a cornea transplant which I did have. As long as you can see small print etc with your eye glasses your probably ok. I wore glasses at your age and my eye problem did not  begin until  many  many years later.
