Wondering eye

My question is my eight year old daughter has an occasional wondering eye.  Once in a while during the day you will see.  You mainly see it in school pictures.  The opthamologist here just asked if she can see.  She has a perscription of +3.50 and a +3.25.  (Can't remember which eye is which) She has had that perscription a couple of years.  I told him I think she can see  he said there is nothing he can do.  Would her depth perception be affected? If so how can I tell.  Also should I get a second opinion?  I just feel like more needs to be done.

I don't think the eye turns out for reading.   I have only noticed it mainly in school pictures or she is looking at distant objects.

She already wears glasses.  She has worn them since she was three.  Sometimes when I look at her and her eye is turned it will just come back in.  It looks kind of gross to see only one eye move by itself.  How would bifocals help?

You need a second opinion from a pediatric ophthalmologist. Go to www.aao.org to locate one near you.  Often treatment is needed including glasses or bifocals or patching.

Verry important
