1. cataract surgery increases the risk of retinal detachment 10 fold even if successful.
2. I know nothing of the alleged Berlin work.
3. No cure for nystagmus. If face turn can do surgery to try and move "null point" towards center to improve the face turn position.

Hi Doctor,
Can cataract surgery in ,my case cause damage to retina or make it more vulnerable?
There is a clinic in Berlin (Drk Clinica) which does retinal transplants. So what they do if retina can not be transplanted?
And what about Nystagmus? Is there a working fix for it at present?
Many Thnks.
1. Only an in person exam can tell you if you would benefit from cataract surgery.
2. Your vision would not improve past what it was before the cataract developed.
3. At present the retina can not be replaced and growing a new retina is not possible.
