Iol strength following cataract surgery in one eye

Following successful cataract surgery, my left eye is now +0.75sph, -0.50 cyl, axis 15, base 6/6+   Everything  looks slightly over-corrected now, even in the distance and particularly looking across a room.  I would prefer it to be at 0 or even -0.5   What strength should I request when the right eye is operated on (soon)  And can the left eye be adjusted to 0 or 0.5 by laser or piggyback lens ?  Thank you.
