blind after brain tumour operation

My brother in-law went for a brain tumour operation overseas. when he returned after the operation, he lost his sight(blindness). How can he recover from this blindness? Will he have to go through some operation again? please help so that I can take him through as per instructed. He is a father of 4 children and the family is in great need!

Please help.

Thanks for the prompt respond.
I've checked some old medical papers that he was holding onto and found some confidential details as - "He was diagnosed with craniopharyngiome" and therefore he had to go to craniotomy in Australia. After the operation he return to Papua New Guinea and from then on, he was blind.

Please assist.
