Post Vitrectomy for Macular Hole

I just had a vitrectomy with ILM and spot welding on retina to prevent RD for a macular hole 10 days ago.  I am a healthy 46 years old female.  The bubble is getting smaller, and I can now see above it, but vision is hazy, like seeing through fog.  Is this normal?  If so, why is it like this and how long before vision becomes clearer?

A friend of mine just had this type of surgery and sent me an e mail today. It took  10 weeks and 5 days for the bubble to resolve. He has had a spectacular result. His surgery was done by Robert Wendel MD who developed this type of surgery.  It takes a long time for the bubble to reabsorb and the macula to try and re-establish the nerve connections that were damaged by the ILM.
