I had cataract operation on my right eye a week ago, I had a thorough eye exam before my operation and there is nothing wrong with my retina, nerves etc. The day after the operation, after the doctor removed the bandage, I noticed that I see s curved black shadow on my right vision...gives me a feeling that hair is coveringpart of my eye. The doctor checked and saw a 1 mm fold in the center of the implanted lens. Could this be causing the black side vision? My doctor said that I qualify for a lens exchange...what is your opinion.
Also the first time I went out at night, on the 5th day...I saw a slanting line of light every time I look at a lamp post or any strong light.
Thanks for any advice.
Ask you surgeon. Too many variable. What was the preop condition, other problems such as glaucoma, corneal problems, and retinal problems.
