injections

FDr says I need to have dye injected into my leg  so he can see the back of my eye.
This sounds nasty!
I have diabetic retinopathy

Again LEG not used too much dilution of the eye before it gets to eye. Plus risk of deep vein thrombosis.

I've had FA many time; it's nothing to be afraid of. Why in your leg though? Any vein would do. I have injection into the vein on the back of my hand cause that's easier for them to find (I have tiny vein). One thing is some people may have allergic reaction to the dye as it enters the body; they might feel a little nauseous; I've had that happened to me once but it goes away really fast. If you are worried about that, you can take a Benadryl before the injection.

Fluroscene angiography or FA=  inject dye into ARM to see back of eye circulation.
