injury?

with no glaucoma my daughter has been diagnosed with paripapillary atrophy. Is this from an accident?  there has been suspected abuse in her life...

Probably not trauma. Trauma looks different.

she does not have it in her right eye and abuse was a concern at the time so he did mention that it could be from an injury, ie. being punched in the eye...?   what is your opinion?

Not it is a developmental finding in the eye, it is so common many Eye MDs consider it benign and normal and do not even mention it to the patient.
