large green-gray spot

Within the last week I have started seeing (not extermally visable) a large spot in the center of my left eye which occasionally travels up and right.  It appears as translucent greenish gray about the size of my thumbnail held at a distance of 10 inches.

I am diabetic, and recently (July 2008) developed Bell's Palsy, which has markedly improved.  My lwft eye and jaw were the center of the Palsy.

What is this and what type doctor showed I see?

Sorry. Sounds like you have wet macular degeneration and the drugs are Avastin and Lucentis. I would chose Avastin as its much less expensive and just as good as lucentis. If you have wet ARMD then injection is the treatment of choice.

This turned out to be macular degeneration.  The Doctor, who is a retinal specialist, gave me a choice of one of two medications injected in the eye.
Is there a less invasive procedure to treat this condition?

You should see a ophthalmologist Eye MD physician as soon as possible. That could be bleeding in your eye due to diabetes. Find a Eye MD at www.aao.org
