Nevus in left eye?

Hi, I'm 37 years old, 5'3, 148 lbs., female. I am caucasian, natural tan skin, dark hair, brown eyes. I'm nearsighted and have a congenital cataract in my left eye. I have a question about a nevus like lesion in my left eye I've noticed the last year or so. I have always had a tiny black dot on the sclera area of my left eye for years, left of my iris (I'm assuming is a freckle), with tiny red veins near it. But about 3 years ago, I was taking my contact lens out of my left eye & busted a blood vessel near the little black dot. Most of the blood absorbed, but the area near the tiny dot seems a little bigger the last couple years. There is a yellow/tan area now where the blood vessel busted and a couple more tiny black dots in it & more veins running to the area now. I googled images of lesions in the eye & it looks like a conjunctival nevus maybe. This yellow/tan area wasn't there I don't think until after the blood vessel busted in my eye 3 years ago (wasn't born with it). So my questions are: could this be a conjunctival nevus that just came up in my eye the last couple of years or scarring on the eye from where I busted the blood vessel in it? I have an eye exam next month for a yearly checkup & plan to talk to my eye doctor about it as well...

Yes nevi anywhere on or in the eye can either be present at birth (congenital) or can develop later in life. Much more common, even normal, in dark or black skinned persons.  Do ask your 'eye doctor' but its unlikely to be a problem.
