peripheral vision lost due to accident

Is there any surgery out there to repair Peripheral Vision, i was in an accident a few years ago and was in a coma and i have lost my peripheral vision and i can no longer drive due to this, im only 25 and my license is much needed, is there any surgery out there to help me!!??

There is a system (very expensive, limited availability) that is touted to help but most Eye MDs are skeptic and feel it has not been proven to be helpful
