Dr Oyakawa , Do you have specific maximum safe YAG size for crystalens HD500 that I can share with my doctor to try and help with the severe starbursting? I'd hate to think I'm suffering and contemplating explant just because the doctor is being overly conservative in the YAG opening size!
Thanks very much!

As for residule error, I don't know. My surgeon tells me I am 20/20 but of course this is not "real world" as I cannot see clearly past say 6ft. I don't think I am getting any accomidation as I see clearly in the intermediate and some close range in sunlight.
Dr. Oyakawa, can the Crystalens be rotated to the horizontal position after surgery.
If so, how long after the surgery can this be done?
Thanks.
This will only help if for certain types of dysphotopsia. I have patient such as you and all have been helped with enlarging the yag opening for the posterior capsule.
What is you residual refractive error. Also, I implant my Crystalens horizontally to reduce dysphotopsia.
