pre surgery drugs for cataract removal

I'm scheduled for cataract surgery on Wednesday. I started the prescription drops (Zymar and Xibrom) on Sunday morning as directed. I've had some peculiar  symptoms and wondering if they are drug related. Sunday morning, a few hours after both drops, I sat down to read the paper (next to a bright light)  and started feeling very hot. The left (cataract and light) side of my face felt a little numb, with some prickly feeling. I also felt very flushed....weak and faint feeling. Took my blood pressure, it was up 15 points...also pulse. It happened again several hours later....after   sitting next to the light. I was concerned and went to my local drug store to talk with the pharmacist  ...to check for additional adverse effects....other than listed with meds. That didn't help.....I know my " symptoms"  are not the normal ones listed with drugs. I have no eye pain, itchy or scratchy feelings. Just a little redness. Again this morning, I'm feeling weak and shaky.....blood pressure and pulse are up... I didn't turn the light on. No numbness or prickly feeling in my face.   I believe slight amount of swelling below eye.  I've been eating candy, hoping it would help. I'm not diabetic, but suffer from occasional hyperglycemic symptoms.
Do you think this has anything to do with the meds? Or something else? Thanks

I have the same issue many others are having.  Discoloraton and yellowing of the eyes and watery eyes in the sun or wind.   I was told by a doctor that my eyes were tanned by the sun..  Can there be anything done to reverse my sun damaged eyes.

I would recommend seeing your eyeMD to determine what he/she thinks you should do.  IT is difficult to assess your symptoms without a complete eye and medical history and examination.  Dizziness and vision changes can be associated with xibrom.
