repair

A laceration in 1967 left me legally blind in my right (shooting, golfing,) eye.The surgery took around 18 stitches from what I recall.part of the cornea was removed and the scar goes right across my pupil. My vision has deteriated due to cataract formation in both eyes. What can be done and to what extent can my vision be improved?

No way you will get an answer here. You need to see a cornea surgeon of great skill and repute. You will need to discuss cataract surgery and cornea surgery to try and rehabilitate the front of your eye and hope the accident did not damage the retina, optic nerve or macula.  ABOVE ALL: protect your good eye from injury, eye disease and lead a healthy lifestyle to minimize the chance of diabetes, hypertension, etc that might affect the good eye. Don't smoke.
