hi  doc i had a injury on my eye with a badminton shuttle. i had completely lost my vision that time(almost 2-3hrs) from the injured eye.every thing became white.now i have recovered . vision has gone done lt eye -0.5
and rt +0.5. and the pupil is bigger than normal size. i have been told that my pupil is ruptured at three places...i want 2 know that will the dilated pupil have any damaging effect in future.? will it get repaired, any how? do i need to take some precautions.
the eye has a glaring effect also, so do i need to put on some special power glasses. i mean like polaroid power lenses .
doc told me of glaucoma. the increase in iop , causing damage to my optic nerve has some thing to do with the in take of light by the affected eye?
why will the iop increases???
can i go for running/jogging??
anything that i m not supposed to do....please let me know ..i will b greatfull....

The glaucoma after trauma is related to the damage to the trabecular meshwork.  This is the drainage system for the eye.   This can usually be controlled with drops.
