Missy i always say i will take a break but i never do.I never stay for more than 2 months.Right now i'm on bedrest as i had my embryo transfer this monday. This is my 3 ivf.I had 2 failed. After my m/c we decided to do ivf as we could have chosen the embryos and had a higher chance of pregnancy.Probrably the reason i m/c was the embryo quality as seeing as i have pcos is much more difficult cause the eggs are not that good cause the whole imbalance thing. That combo i told you about worked for me and is much more risky than only injections. And i had no IUI only BD the days of ovulation. It is not easy having PCOS. And when trying for a family it makes it a really fight but nothing impossible to win.
I'm so sorry about your 3 mc. That is so sad. They are actually putting me on 100 mg. of clomid and the shots this next cycle. They had me on the shots before I went on clomid but I produced too many eggs and they had to cancel the cycle. This is so frustrating. At first they told me that I didn't ovulate on the 50 mg. and then they did bloodwork and my progesterone was high so I did around cycle day 28 which is way late. I am waiting right now. I hate this. Are you taking a break from treatment now?
I have pcos too and clomit never worked for me.I did for 5-6 cycles and ovulated only once. For the injections my Re was sceptical cause i would have produced many follicles and also for ohss.So he put me on a combo of them 2. 5 days of 200mg clomit and 3-4 days of injections for that boost that clomit doesn't give.I had 4 follicles and hcg at the last day. I got pregnant 3 times with this method but m/c all 3. You could talk to your doctor for this method it worked for me even though the result was not good. Good luck
