2ww buddies?

Anyone in the 2ww? I am 2 dpo. We've been trying for baby #2 for almost a yr and a half. We have unexplaind secondary infertility. If I'm not pregnant this month we move on to clomid and iui. Infertility dr told me I need to calm down and relax and it should happen. I hate when people tell me that!

So sorry to hear about your news. Don't give up!!! I am going to be approaching my 2WW again end of next week. Doing it the "natural" way again given I had to get blood tests and another HSG done before i move forward with either IUI or possibly IVF if my tubes pose a problem. sigh. keep me posted on what you're doing and hang in there! hugs and lots of baby dust!

Hi everyone,

I am also in 2WW, this is my 1dpo.
We are trying for the baby#2m with first one it took a very long time, and now we have been trying for close to a year. This is my 4th IUI, and paying out of pocket, doc recommends IVF, but i am scared since i know its very invasive.
So hope this round will work. This time around feel lightheaded and just not myself- anyone feels weired from clomid 10 mg and bravelle 150 4 times and ovidrell, and now progesterone??

Its a BFN for me. Second beta confirmed it. Waiting for next doctor appointment to decide course of action.

Thanks for the message and prayers, they really made me feel much better.
I guess I have to just wait it out now and stressing is not going to make a difference, especially not a positive one so I will not stress. Have a family picnic to go to today and will relax tomorrow and see a friend. And then it'll be monday and I'll know for sure... Thats it, right?

I will say lots of prayers for you.  Don't lose faith yet.  They might go up, just try to relax.  I went into this expecting the worst too, I feel bad but figured then I wouldn't feel let down.  I understand the crying :(  Just think of all the extra hormones you have in your body now too!  Try to relax over the weekend and I will say lots of prayers!
Lots of baby dust too!

Wow thats great news, so happy for you and best of luck for a week without RE!!

My first beta came 47.8 today but it could very well be the hcg 1000 shots I'm getting daily. Doc did not seem too happy and next beta is on Monday. My DH and I decided to expect the worst and have given up on this cycle too. Tried to stay cheerful for him though he could tell I was stressed. But after he fell asleep I broke down and cried and cried and am still crying... Well, maybe theres a miracle and the hcg goes up significantly on monday. Not stopping the prayers, they do work. Pls pray for me too.

I had my first IUI on 12/31 and the TWW is killing me.  My nipples are sore---i am having cramps, I am tired and my stomach is off.  Is it to early for pregnancy sympstoms to start?  I am 8 dpIUI and 10 days post ovidrel shot.  I was on clomid for days 5-9.  This is my 4th month of clomid and I have never had sore nipples and with AF i usually get low back pain but non of that yet.

Well, looks like the wait is over for me. AF showed up as scheduled this morning. We are moving onto iui this month hopefully. I have an appt with my RE tomorrow. KathAng- congrats and best of luck to you! SammyJ- keep me posted on your test results. Good luck to all you other 2ww's out there!

kris71~ Don't give up!  I had lactated for 3 years after I had my daughter... I know very strange but they found out that it was a mild hypothyroid disorder... put me on low dose meds and it finally went away!   Lots of baby dust to you!!!

Sammy_J~ Thanks, had my 3rd beta today and it went up to 911 with high estrogen and progesterone levels so the next appt isn't until a week from today (What am I going to do with a whole week off from the RE? LMAO)... At least we will get to see whether one or two of our embies took next week, so I am sure the week will go by VERY slowly, I will just bury myself in my work I guess...

Thanks for your comments, Dr thinks my lactation is due hormones still being out of synch after losing my boy at 19 weeks.  It had stopped for a little while and Dr believes that I may have been pregnan  but egg did not implant properly. Here's hoping for baby dust for the next 2ww, best wishes to you.

Im 7dpo.  And oh so ready to test!  It's like I am a junkie but Im going to hold out until 10dpo. My first baby, after 2 IUIs and 1.5 years of ttc, got a + frer at 10dpo.

If this cycle doesn't get me a +  we are going back to try another round of IUIs.

Congratulations on your BFP!! Wishing you 9 healthy months...yes I am taking progesterone but tablets not shots twice a day...and estrogen. Days are passing so slow and am on leave these days so have nothing to do but sit and think and wish and pray and cry!!

Sammy_J~ Thanks :)  My 2nd Beta on 14dp3dt went up from 227 to 447 :)  So all looks good so far... I go back tomorrow for my 3rd Beta :)  Everything's probably fine and I am feeling like crap horrible stomach ache and nothing tastes good anymore, lol

Kris71~ Hang in there!!! I took two HPTs and they were both Neg so I just gave up taking the tests... Lots of baby dust to you!

2ww82~ I hated that wait, try not to freak (I know, easier said then done).  I felt LOTS of cramping, sore bbs, I really was worried that it didn't take, your changes are definitely better since you had more than one transferred... Are you taking the progesterone shots?

Hey Ladies, I have been reading the posts on this site for a while now...I usually do it in bed after my DH is a sleep because he thinks am going crazy checking websits every second I feel a pinch in my tummy!! This is my 2nd IVF attempt...the first was last month only got one embryo but it didnt take :( we have been TTC for 5 years now my husband has very low sperm count but I am a healthy 25 year old. Today is my d3pd3t so 7 days since retrival...we had 9 eggs but only 3 fertilized a 3 cell, 9 cell & 11 cell and we put them all back...so now I just have to wait and see! Easy right! NOOOOO!! Am losing it sometimes am all comon am sure at least one would stick other times I just lose hope....I am peeing like every 30 mins probably cause I am drinking alot, I have tender (.)(.) but am sure thats cause of the meds I am constipated which I was not during my first cycle and have this pinch in my stomach all the time since yesterday...is anyone on the same time line? What do you think this pinch is??

I can't take an HPT as i'm getting hcg shots to sustain a possible pregnancy, so the hpt would get messed up. Must wait till beta, just a few more days now. No symptoms apart from bloating... Trying to stay positive but yet not get hopes too high.

suzeeo - have you ever had your prolactin checked? if you are lactating when not pregnant - that could be a sign you have a pituitary issue and this could cause infertility.  Unless you've had this checked and your dr's consider it normal. i am by no means an expert but i have done extensive research on reasons for infertility and this was one i came across...  

kathang - thanks for the encouragement. i never felt any cramping at all with my first pregnancy so when I get cramping, i immediately feel disappointed... i may break down and take an HPT tomorrow evening or sunday that will be 9/10dpo... will keep you all posted.
