I just had my IUI today and am officially in the 2ww!! This is my third back to back IUI so I've been getting shots daily from 6 November - very hard on my poor lil bum ;)
I'll be on hcg 1000 injections daily and progesterone suppositories 400mg each night.
My beta will probably be on 14/15 Feb.
In case it doesn't work (please God make it work, please, please, pretty please with sugar and honey on top) then I'll take a rest and maybe go for IVF after a month.
Just wanted to start a thread for all 2wwers so we can obsess over symptoms, share fears and concerns, and consider to hpt or not to hpt with each other.
I get very jittery towards the end of the 2ww and support from my friends on this forum has helped keep me sane thru the shots, scans, suppositories, tests, etc. Hope we can start a useful thread for everyone else in this 4th dimension...

Oh girl i know how u feel trust me..... I so freaking mad right now that i wish i could sleep this month away... I so frustrared too... ******* stupid things happend all time why can be easy for us eh?? So u still in the run so dont get sad just yet.... I am sure you are going to give the good news soon.So relax sweety and u will see good things wil come your way... and mine too.
I have a follow up apt on Thursday so i hope dr. say something helpfull...LOL

My news is not too good but not a complete BFN yet. AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAARGHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH I hate this.... my 2ww is a 3ww each time for me. And the last days are the WORST!

So my first beta came 178. I should be overjoyed, right? NO! I got a shot of hcg 5,000IU on saturday and gave blood on monday. I've been getting hcg shots (5,000IU) every other day due to my condition. So when I told the doctor my beta result he said it could be due to the hcg and we won't know till the beta doubles in 48 hours. So I give blood again tomorrow and get the final results on thursday.

This is killing me. I'm overanalysing and calculating how much hcg should be in my system from the shots...

Last cycle I was getting hcg 1000 every day and the first beta was 48 and second beta was 37.

In a previous cycle I was getting hcg 5000 every third day and my first beta (3 days after the hcg shot) came to 106 and second beta was 67.

So doc is right that now 178 beta could be due to hcg, after all I am getting a high dose of hcg. Such a bummer. I wish it would have been low low number and I would not be in this torture, I would know that its failed. But now I have to hang on for another 2 days.

I think I should just accept a negative and move on. Why is it so fr$%^ng hard?

Sorry for venting, I just needed to get that off my chest. And thanks for being ther for me, I would be insane by now had it not been for you all.

Welcome to the thread and the 2ww. Different women have different symptoms in the 2ww so the bets thing is to relax and not read too much into them... easier said than done, but it comes from someone who is in the same boat so I know how it feels. Good luck and tons of SSBD
