Thank you. for answering me back. I'll call them tomorrow morning to see what they say
I'm so sorry for your loss. I'm also sorry because I'm not entirely sure they were right. If you are bleeding heavy enough to consider it your period (more than spotting), my guess is that what they saw on your ovary was a regular old cyst, and not a follicle ready to ovulate. I AM NO DOCTOR - I am just guessing! Cysts can cause the twinges of pain you mentioned. I would definitely call them back and tell them you are bleeding.
That doesn't mean that you won't ovulate this upcoming month, and the other good news is that if it is a cyst, it can't be that big if they mistook it for a follicle. My guess is it will probably go away on its own, but you will probably need to monitor it - maybe go back in two weeks to make sure it is getting smaller and not bigger.
If it is a cyst, I'm sure everything will be fine - it just may delay things a bit (but it may not either!). I KNOW how frustrating it can be! I've had a bazzillion cysts in my life! That's what it sounds like is happening to me, but once again, I think you should call your doctor because I'm not one :o)
Let me know if you have any other questions - you can feel free to send me a message if you like.
Good luck!
