5 week ultrasound help!!!!

Well yesterday I went for my 5 week ultrasound and I was at 5 weeks 3 days but the tec said 5.1 weeks..
we saw gestational sac that measured 9.5mm with good reaction decidual. The sac is implanted at the top of the uterus (they said this is good). We didnt see a yolk sac or fetal pole.
My question is whether any of you ladies had an u.s. at 5 weeks that was similar???????? Im looking for good news....

This is our 4th IVF and god knows how much we want this baby..............

So excited to hear your news alma!!!! We don't have our next appt until the 22nd....still have a little over a week until we see more. Starting to feel sick a lot and that's not fun...but I'll take it lol.

We saw the yoke sac and heartbeat also on Monday. Such a beautiful sound. My husband was so excited.

Yeah!!! I am so excited about this! U had me worred after u didnt post on monday.  Being a mom is a great feeling. so how long areu going to wait to tell the families?

well my brreast have been leaking since sunday morning / saturday night so dr ordered a quint yesterday. I dont knwo what that is. the will call me today with the results.

Sorry I did not update sooner but my internet was down.....

Anyway I went for my 6w3d ultrasound and there it was a yolk sac and a bueatiful HEARTBEAT!!!!!!!!..... I am on my way to be a mother!!!! WE were estatic at the Dr office.
My doc said to come back August 1st but I am going to do another u.s. in another week I cant wait 3 weeks to see that my baby is growing well....

I am praying today went well.  i have checked many times today to see if u posted. not seeing u post anything has me nervious that things didnt go well. Keeping u in my thoughts and prayers.

I hope you heard the heartbeats today. I did my ultrasound last Thursday and saw the yolk in the sac but no heartbeat yet. Will go in to the doctors this Thursday. Nervous...my conception date 6/11/11. So we are pretty close. Good Luck!

Ok so i think iam in my tww. I had ewcm two different weeks this past month. a week apart. My breast started leaking Sunday. I am not putting to much stock into that. i am sure there are a 1000 reasons for this. Just thinking Positive and at the same time not getting my hopes up.

I am so scared to see the results tomorrow!!! I almost dont want to go... When I get home I will post the update:)  Atleast our symptoms are good, sore boobies!!! I too get tired alot..

Yes were only 2 days apart!! My doc appointment is at 10am and I am so scared too only see an empty sac. I too hope to see a yolk sac and maybe a heartbeat.. My first appt was last Monday.

I think we are only a few days apart. I conceived 6/8/2011. I have a doctors appointment tomorrow as well at 2pm. The first appointment they saw the gestational sac and this one I am hoping to see a yoke sac (possibly heartbeat).

Can't wait to hear how your ultrasound goes! Mine won't be until the 22nd. She wanted it to be two weeks after the first :-( But that's ok...hopefully the time will go by fast and by that time I will be able to see the baby by then!

I'm in the same boat with the swelling my boobies are so sore lol. And I have a lot of fatigue as well.

I won't have much to report but I'll be looking for your update!!

Wow you and I are in the same boat!!!! My date of conception was 6-10-11
and yours 6-13-11. Both of our ultrasounds were the same. Just a sac but implanted at the top of the uterus with good blood flow.

Tomorrow 7-11-11 I go for another u.s. and im scared stiff!!! I hope there is a little heart beating. At least a yolk sac....
My breast are swelling a little and hurting more(.)(.) I hope this is a good signal..... Atleast my DH thinks its great. hahahaha......

I'm right there with you....they are doing tests early and did an ultrasound today and only saw a sac...nothing in it at all. I should be 5weeks 5days but that could be a couple of days off I might be closer to 5 weeks. I also had an ectopic hence the early testing. They did this with DD last time and I had an early ultrasound at 5weeks 3days and they didn't see anything except a sac then also...she's two and a half now.

I am so glad to see the sac where it should be that gives me some relief, but now I'm going to be nervous until we see more...I have an ultrasound in 2 weeks, I so hate these 2ww's :-(

I agree! 5 weeks is early! sounds like your lil bean is right where it needs to be, and that things are right on track!!!  When is your next ultrasound??

The wait is some times what kills us more than anything. I will be here for u. I am just glad it is not ectopic.

           I had it done early because of my history of ectopic... I do know that this one is not ectopic:)  The wait for another u.s. is hard but with my friends here it makes it easier.

Dont worry just yet. I have never had one doen this early so I cant help u as far as that goes but i have had them done at 6weeks. Most drs do them that late because it is hard to tell anything or see it all at 5 weeks. I will pray for u. Keep us updated.
