6 days post iui

Hi Everyone, I just joined this group today after months of reading the posts- I felt like I needed to ask questions and be part of it!  I did my first IVF in December and had a chemical pregnancy...We were sooo devastated but we decided to try IUI after ovarian hyperstimulation with the IVF.  I did the IUI on Friday (6 days ago), and because I am going CRAZY, I already did a pregnancy test...The results were negative- has anyone had a positive result this early in they IUI cycle?

Hi!  Welcome!  I am 5dpiui.  I have done many IUIs and a few IVF cycles before.  I had my son through IUI a few years back.  I would not test until 12dpiui since that is when I finally got a bfp with my son.  It is hard to wait, but the longe ryou wait, the more accurate it will be.  Are you feeling any differently or have any symptoms?  Are you taking any prog. supp?

Thanks for the lovely words of encouragement...these 2 weeks are even longer then what I remember from IVF treatment! GOOD LUCK everyone, my thoughts are with all of you !!

Hello and welcome!!!  well your right, i think thats just too early.. i'm not aware of anyone on here that has gotten a true positive that early.. also if you used a trigger shot (hcg shot) then you risk getting a false positive.. but of course i test early as well Every single cycle!!! the earliest i have gotten a BFP is 10dpiui.. and it was faint, your almost there! but chances are the little embie hasn't even implanted yet, but hopefully will soon and get snug for the 9 months to follow!!!! GOOD LUCK! keep us updated!
