how old was your daughter when she got pg with triplets?
My daughter had 7, 5 fertilized 3 implanted 3 babies that are now almost 7 months. The first try she got pregnant but miscarried she only had like 9 that time and 3 fertilized. It can happen keep the faith.
We'll transfer all 4, given my age and m/c history. The doctor doing the transfer apparently has a great success rate, so we'll see. (It's a large practice, and different doctors specialize in different aspects of the process.)
I wish you lots of luck. I had 5 eggs. All became embryos, put three back and froze two. I am pregnant wih twins.
out of the 4, how many are you going to transfer?
good luck. keep us posted. :)
Ladies,
Thanks for your kind words of encouragement and the reality check. I really appreciate it! Fertility results came back...of the 7 retrieved, 4 were mature and 4 fertilized. Of course, now I'm obsessing about whether they will make it until Wednesday for transfer!
Laura
Be happy with your 7 and remember that it only takes 1. I had 10 retrieved, 9 fertilized. Two were at blast on day 5 and were transferred and 5 additional were frozen on day 6. I'm now 16 weeks. The waiting is the hardest part for certain, but hang in there. Sounds like you are off to a great start!
Hi, Wish you all the best for the test...Hope yoe get a BFP
Estrogen builds the uterine lining. Maybe you didn't need the help?
I wonder why my dr didn't put me on estrogen until the day of the transfer? Anyone else have that experience?
hi laura:
thanks. co-culturing is interesting and intriguing. anything that can help is a good thing. if you remember ... please let me know how you are doing. i've never heard of anyone doing co-culture and would be interested how it goes.
good luck and keep in touch :))

Dear jakl726:
I left out that I'm doing endometrial co-culture this time, unlike last time. It is experimental, and I hear that results have been mixed. I also understand that it can't hurt, so my doctor suggested we do it.
Hi. I was on the same protocol both times. ICSI both times.
*Estrogen patch & Ganirelix starting 10 days post-ovulation in the month before stimulation.
* Stim starting Day 2: 150 Menopur/300 Follistim for the first several days, then Ganirelix once eggs were at about 10mm, then Follistim down to 225 (Menopur remained at 150).
*Stimulated for 13 days.
First time: Retrieved 8 eggs. Fertilized 6 (with ICSI). Transfered 4. None implanted.
Second time: Fertilization results tomorrow....
Hope that helps.
i think these are pretty good stats. the most i've had in all of my ivf cycle is 7 eggs, 4 fertilized and 3 implanted. it resulted in pg but m/c. so your numbers are def good. just curious... what protocol you are in? and do you know or what has your doc told you why the first cycle did not work considering you had 6 fertilized eggs.
good luck! i think their good numbers :))
it only takes one embie :)
good luck!
