8 days after embryo transfer

I had my transfer on 5/7 and i went back to DR today for blood work.  Progesterone 22 and Estrgoen 118.  The nurse said they look for estrogen to be at least 200.  They increased me from wearing on dot patch to three.  I am scared now.  Is this a bad sign??  Someone please respond, I am getting very depressed now.  I was hoping for better hormone levels.

Since a few people in this forum seemed to update what happen after the low values, here I am writing the before and after. I am 36 and my DH is 30. This was our first ICSI and after 2 egg transfer on day 5 (blastocyst "best quality" ready to hatch, according to my Doctor) I got my progesterone levels checked at day 5, 10, 14 and they were 129, 23 and 8.6 ng/mL, respectively. After the last value they told me to start taking 2 additional progesterone tablets orally in addition to the 2 vaginal pearls I was taking since the day of the retrieval. By the way the progesterone shot will be not longer sold here in Germany (discontinued), so we were told the only source of progesterone now were the vaginal pearls. Well, after the famous 2WW with all sorts of symptoms (due to progesterone and ovary stimulation) the blood test on day 16 (Dec.6.2010) came as a big NEGATIVE. I feel so disappointed of science at this point, I really thought this was going to work since I do not have any previous gynecological problems. Anyway, I hope this info helps for all of you seeing low values in progesterone.

I wish people would update their situations.  I have the same concerns about estrogen dropping and wondering how it turned out for people whose estrogen level dropped.  Lilbits, my RE did tell me that you can't tell the difference between pregnancy symptoms and progesterone symptoms; they are the same.  (It's the progesterone in a pregnancy that give you symptoms).  Anyway, hope it all turned out well for all of you!

I'm taking Delestrogen and Progesterone shots 2 wees before the transfer. What levels should be my E2 and P4 at during day 5? Please help.

cindy - mine dropped too during the wait before the beta.  I'm not sure of the numbers but they had me add Estrace to my patches to boost my estrogen & I also added one more cc to my progesterone in oil shots.  I did end up getting pregnant so don't lose hope! - jen

Did they give you pregnyl after the transfer? Or are you taking progesterone. Did they also check your progesterone levels?
They checked mine today which is only 3 days post transfer but I had a pregnyl. So mine where a bit high but I think that is from pregnyl

Did your estrogen drop?  They tested mine several times b4 transfer and I was on 3 dots prior to fet. It is not necessarily a bad sign. The levels rise as the placenta develops and produces its own hormones in addition to the ones you are supplementing. When do you go for you beta?
