8 dpo and my bbt is down to the coverline

Hi everyone,

I've been trying to conceive for the past 2 months and only this month I've been monitoring my bbt. Fertilityfriend says my temp are in the normal limits, but I am 8 dpo today and my bbt seems to be going down. On 5 dpo 98.6, on 6dpo 98.9, on 7dpo 98.4 and on 8dpo 98.2. On 7dpo from the beginning of the afternoon I was feeling cramps and at night time, while trying to fall asleep I had this dull ache on my right side, on the right side of my back too. Today the ache is gone, but my bbt is down. Is this a sign that my af is coming, or is it the in-famous implantation dip... I am trying not to htp until af is due, so that way I don't keep so anxious and nervous about it....

Thank you, I will appreciate any kind of insight!

As a medical professional, I think that two months trying to conceive is way too early to worry!  Monitoring basal body temperature and trying to tweak out minor trends after only one month of monitoring is very advanced and probably a little misleading.  These trends are followed over several months of TTC, not just one.  It's hard to interpret such a small set of data.  I would not worry either.  I assume that you are otherwise healthy and will conceive in a matter of time.  Rest assured that most women try for several months before achieving their goal.  Have faith...and patience!

The TWW is so hard! I am at 7 dpo today. Also looking for patterns in my temps but so far my temp remains same. I hope it is the implantation dip for you. If your temps go back up tomorrow then I would think that's a very good sign! Good luck!
