8DPO positive??

I am now 8 DPO/IUI (4/25) and 10 DP trigger shot(4/23).  I took an Answer HPT on thursday (8DP trigger) to see if the shot was out of my system and it was very very faintly positive.  My husband said he could barely see it.  I took another test on friday with FRHPT and it was completely negative.   I took an Answer HPT today and there was a very faint lone, darker than thursday.  I know it is too soon, but I have no patience at all.  My husband said he is going to hide the last test until Monday!  What are everyone's thoughts.  Could it really be positive at 8 DPO?

thanks ladies.  i am trying to not think too much into it...after 17 months of trying i am pretty used to a BFN each month.  it was nice to see both of those lines even if they aren't real. i want to say that i feel like i am pregnant, i have a 3 year old, so i know what it feels like.  my bb's are just starting to get sore and my thighs hurt, something that happened in my 1st pregnancy.  i have been getting major heartburn the last few days with anything that i eat and have been very tired this last week.  i will hope for the best and test on monday or tuesday!  i go on 5/9 for my blood test, but i was hoping that i would know something sooner than that!!

You may have tested to early. I would wait and remember all test are not the same. I got a positive on my blood test Friday (14DPIUI) but with a low number and I took a FRHPT this morning and it was negative so I don't really know what test is the best. Best of Luck to You.

Its hard to say, some people metabolize the trigger faster than others and some HPT's are more sensative than others. I know how hard it is to wait, but I would test maybe day 12.... :)
