Help needed

I am 32 years old. I had an ectopic pregnancy earlier & the other fallopian tube is blocked. So have to go for IVF. I had 2 unsuccessful IVF cycles.... 1st in May'09 & 2nd Nov-Dec'09 After the failure of my 1st cycle I had to undergo ovarian cyctectomy. As I have been a very slow responder in both my cycles had to take Follistm for more number of days than scheduled in both the cycles.In fact in the 2nd cycle the dose was also increased. In the first cycle I had only one egg retrieved which fertilized very well but in the 2nd cycle 7 eggs were retrieved but none fertilized though there was no problem with the quality of eggs. Could it have been due to more days of Follistm? I am very upset now. Should I change my physician? I am also worried about the cysts coming back. I am so so confused.... here is the details of my cycles

In the first cycle:
Stims: 15 days -150IU -Follistim (Microdose Lupron)
E2 -720
3 (8-20mm), 4 (9-16mm) of which 2 were 18 mm
But during retrieval RE could retrieve only 1 egg as the rests were cysts.


In the 2nd cycle:
Stims: 15 days -225IU -Follistim (Microdose Lupron)
E2-907
5 (8-16mm), 3 (11-25mm) of which 1 was 25 mm.
7 eggs were retrieved of which 1 was Grade 4 rest all grade 1 or 2.

Out of 6 eggs, 3 ferilized abnormally i.e. either had 1 PB and 1 PN, or 2 PB and 3 PN.

2 eggs were not fertilized at all , on which rICSI was performed but did not help

Is this a good time to change my RE now ??

Thanks a lot for responding. My RE did not even advice me to do FSH yet. I have definitely decided to change my RE.... lets hope for the best...just moving forward expecting something good. Good Luck to u too. take care

what is your FSH?
Compared to my medicine's dose, your is just low to me.
I have 375 follistim + 225 menopur so total is 600 unit daily.  I produce 20 eggs, 17 mature, and 12 fertilized.  So I think you should look for another RE who is more aggressive.  My first RE only gave me 225IU and ofcourse I produced a few eggs. However, both RE never want to stim. longer than 12 days.  I'm 39.
