the amount of caffeine in green tea is 1/25 that of a cup of coffee, so dont worry about the caffeine part. its black tea that had the most caffeine.
Ive definitely heard that green tea helps with the CM and it is rich in antioxidants which helps improve the egg quality as well! I dnt think the caffiene in green tea is a point of concern as per my acupuncturist. Please let us know if drinking green tea has helped you
hi every one. i have just been told that i have premature ovarian failer. i was just going to accept that i do have pof and just live my life. then i decided to try herbal tea infussion. i had it given to me yesterday when i went to a chinese herbal shop in town yesterday. the only thing i have notice since i started drinking the tea yesterday. is that i am eating lease i feel bloated after i eat food. so i am cutting down on what i eat. well i dont mind coz i was in the process of loosing weight before i started drinking herbal tea. what my question is this. has any one fallen pregnant whilst drinking herbal tea?. which is the main question i would like answered. coz i dont really want to be spending my money on this herbal tea, and i dont get pregnant after. any advice is welcome. many thanks.
evening primrose has really worked for me. 2 with every meal.
I find that when i increase my intake of green tea i get more CM. I drink a decaf blend of green/white tea.
Not sure if it's the tea or increased water intake with the tea.... LOL but whatever works. :)
I don't think green tea affects CM, because I drink two cups of green tea (not for CM) every day for at least a year, And my CM has not changed......it still only goes as far as lotion consistency.
oh by the way, I've also heard that taking a teaspoon of Robitussin everyday helps. Just REGULAR Robitussin (without any other letters like DM, PE, CF). I hope that helps you.
Good Luck with the Baby making!!
I've understood that the caffeine in Tea is not the same as the caffeine in Coffee...I know it sounds weird. When I got pregnant earlier this year (resulted in m/c) I had started drinking green tea maybe a month before I found out I was pregnant. The tea may or may not have been the cause of my pregnancy, but it was a strange coincidence...and by the way...DH and I were not trying to get pregnant, but we hadn't used any bc methods in 2 1/2 years...I didn't think that I was able to get pregnant. We are now trying to get pregnant again and I remember I was drinking green tea so I've taken it up again. Wish me luck!!
I hope this helps.
Well, that sucks, now I'm right with you being confused!!! :)
Well I've heard that decaf green tea does not have the same benefits of regular/caffeinated green tea because the decaffeination process removes the beneficial properties of it... hence my confusion.
Someone else on the forum did say Green Tea helps that. I've been trying it. I found some Green Tea that is decaf. I can't think of what bran dit is, but I just found it in the tea isle of the grocery store. Of all the Green Teas, I only found one that was decaf.
