7 day post embyro transfer

Hi All,

I am new here, but it ias so interesting to see all the comments. I had day 3 transfer and this is my 1st IVF. Now at day 7 i dont feel bloated at all stomach has gone in and when i urinate my stomach n uterus feel empty completly. Not feeling hungry at all too. Is everything ok with me? No bleeding no nausea so far.

Hi

I am BACK. My 1st cycle failed :-(. Unknown reasons.

I have just started beleiveing in acupuncture, I agree it helps tremendously with the stress and also it helped me so far with my uterus lining.

I was to go today for my 5dt, but heard a sad news that my embies are not growing normal, i had a 12 n 14 cell today morula stage.. so far didnt make it to the blastscyst stage, my fingers are crossed tom will be the deciding day6, if it is good to go ahead with it or not. Doc was clear and said doesnt look like that theses embies will make a baby even if we transfer them.

I have been recomemnded going for PGD test for genectic deffects with the embryos, as they dont know the reason why everytime my embies dont make it to the blastscyst stage.

I am continuning with acupuncture n my fertility treatments. Dont know what else i can do about the choromosome part of it.

Was this a fresh transfer for you?

I ran a low grade fever w/ my fresh transfer and was told it was b/c of my hormones. But I can also tell you that the one time I was pregnant (ended up being ectopic) I ran a low grade fever too. At that time I was told it was also normal for pregnancy.

I say don't give up hope. BFN on an HPT is not concrete.

I tossed around the idea of doing the HPT and finally decided that for me I would rather have the "no" and still have hope that wait it out. I felt like I was at least a little prepared for the call. My DH and I truly believe that we rushed it doing a fresh transfer b/c of the OHSS. I have to wait for my next cycle to try again and it is taking forever to get here....

Stay strong and be positive- we never know what He has in store for us!

I am just down with low grade fever past 2 days 98.8-99.9 and bit worried. When ever my husband who is a doc too :-)... injects progestren shots with the big needle i feel i get fever as it happened the 1st day of my ET too.

I called my MD assistant she said need not to worry no blood chk is required take tylenol and stay hydrated.

We will be praying for you too! You honestly can't second guess any of the symptoms during the 2ww. Sadly. Its frustrating and hard not to but every one and every cycle is different. Some people have a ton of symptoms and are pregnant and others have none at all and are pregnant too...and vice versa! As hard as it is the best advice I have seen is to try not to stress!

Thank you so much for your comments.  It really helps all of us who are in the same boat. I am on day 9 today after 3 DET, no bleeding so far but breat is very sore, get slight cramping. I am not doing any HPTS just fingures crossed and praying :-). my blood test is this wednesday.

you can't rely on those HPTs!! I had a friend that took one the morning of and it said no and yet she was pregnant w/ twins! She also had a really low # the first time and they were concerned but it doubled like it was supposed to and she is moving right along.

The MD I wouk for says you can get false negatives but not false positives!!

Ouch! Your behind must be aching. I'm taking the suppository. I didn't have a choice, I guess my insurance covered that instead of the shots. My HCG levels have been positive and I will go for my 2nd ultra sound tomorrow to check for the heartbeat. Last week I only saw the yolk in the sac attached to the uterine wall. I'm nervous because everything is pretty early but I'm just enjoying the journey so far!

2WW is tough but it will be over soon! ;o)

I've read somewhere HPT is not accurate all the time, so why don't you wait for the blood test. It might be good news...let's pray for that.

I had 2 embyro transfer both 8 cells. I am on pre natal and progestrone shots. Its just the waiting period is so challenging.

I called my doctor assitant she said that everything is so far normal with me. i dont feel bloated coz my ovaries are back to normal now. Rest she said wait for another 7 days my blood test is on day 14th. M so nervous.

So Karol1968 are u pregnant? :-). yeh i was told if the blood test is positive i need to take shots upto atleast 9 weeks.

Karol1968 oh that is such a relief to hear!!! because like you qtpie_1176 i am exactly the same.its my first IVF transfer and  i am on im on day 4 after my transfer but because it was a day 3 transfer (but it was 7 cells) that makes me on day 7 after conception and i have no symptoms to. Also i did a HPT i know i shouldn't have but i did and it came out negative. is that a bad sign???? does anyone know

Sounds like what I went through. I had my 1st IVF with 1x day 3 embryo (8 cells). The embryo is pretty small right now so you won't be feeling anything. This could be a good sign! Stay away from painkillers, NSAIDs, of course. Are you taking progestrone shots and/or suppositories? I did and still am until my doctor tells me to stop.
