Anyone NOT BFP on 2nd IVF?

I am wondering...

Is there anyone here who DIDN"T get a BFP on their 2nd round of IVF and if so were you male factor or what was your diagnosis?

If NO then what number are you on of IVF only if you have male factor?

We have male factor infertility, low sperm count, low motility, we are doing our 2nd round of IVF ICSI and am curious to see what the probability is.

We too have male factor and MTHFR for me.... have done 1 frozen and on our 4th fresh cycle --- all done with ICSI

1st - bfn
2nd - hcg as high as 15 then stopped
3rd - hcg as high as 9 then stopped
fet - bfn

4th - in the tww!

We did a couple of things different this time - added steroids to protocol and also tetracycline (sp?)..... This is the first cycle where we have embryos that do not have fragmentation - 3 GREAT looking ones....retrieved 16 eggs.... and 12 fertilized, 3 great looking ones so far, and 6 with a little fragmentation, and 3 that are moving sloooow....

On the IVF#1 with 7 follicles, 5 fertized, 3 survised, transfer 3 - day 3 (8cells, 6cells, 4cells)-  Failed
On the IVF#2, switch to different office, 7 follicles, 7 fertized, 5 survised, transfer 5(8cells, 6cells, 3 of 4cells) - day 3, and got BFP, today is 4weeks3days.

Hang in there. I didn't get bfp on #2 ivf, but I did on #3 only to miscarry.  #4 was also a bfn, but I'm hopefully #5 will do the trick.  I guess you just have to go day by day, but know everyone is pulling for you and you aren't alone!

It took 2 cycles for my son. After the 1st round failed my doc immediately put me back on a cycle and I conceived and went on to deliver a healthy fullterm baby.

History will hopefully repeat itself with my current attempt for my next baby.The 1st cycle failed in July and I am on my 2nd attempt now and currently in my 2ww. I'm hopeful....

My case is different from yours however, because all of my embryos were fertilized and frozen in 2005 for all future tries.

so far I had 1 IUI, 3 IVF and 3 frozen embryo transfers with no pregnancy yet. we are also a male factor infertility

We are Male Factor only and have done 4 fresh and 2 frozen (2 clinics) all with lots of great quality embryos and we ended up with only one chemical preg to show for it.  We were always given 50-60% odds of success each cycle, just happened to be on the wrong side of the stats.

I hope so too thereses101, How many embies have you transfered and what weere their quality each of the 3 times?  

Thank you, I hope it works!!! I know I am definitely stiming faster this time, I have been on Gonal F for 1.5 days and I already feel bloated this time and crampy...UGH.  BUT Its a good sign because my first time, it took a while to feel this way!!

hi i have had 3 stim cycles, and three frozen still no btp. Were hoping next month is our month, however we have male and female, i have pcos and my husband has very poor sperm. With my last two ivf icsi cycle first one all six eggs fertilised and second all 13 eggs fertilised. Good Luck i guess its a 50% everyones different

First IVF For me:) but I am hearing really great things from women at my clinic about the second time around so hang in there!!

So does this mean everyone here has only done 1 IVF or is on their second try? Or not doing IVF at all...?
