April-May Fresh/FET IVF Cycle Buddies

A warm welcome to this thread to all  those who are planning a fresh of frozen IVF cycle in April or May 2012. My FET is planned on 4/30. Would love to have some company for encouragement as well a shoulder to lean on to.

Hi there, we are about to have our IUI this week, but to be honest we don't hold much hope so we are planning to have IVF starting April/May.  I will keep you posted date wise :o)  Best of luck

Hi, I go for u/s and blood work tomorrow CD-3. I hope to be able to start and finish my IVF cycle, last month it was cancelled because I did not have enough follies for IVF. I hope to have better luck this month. My DH and I are trying to add one more to our family but know that because of my age this is hard. IVF is our last resort and to be honest I am at my end. If this is not the month I will accept it and move on. But until then I am excited to see what happens tomorrow. Wish me luck.

Hi there! Can I join your thread? I'm waiting on AF who is 17 days late so I can start ivf #2. My first fresh was in October 2011 two transferred and then I had two scopes and tried fet on Feb 6th with three transferred. I haven't had AF since Feb 19th so I saw my re last week, my pcos is acting up so I have a cyst... Labs revealed af should be here soon. Called re yesterday and was told to start provera for 5 days. As soon as af shows up I can start stims.

Hi - I am 3dp5dt. We had 2 snow babies transferred on Monday,barely at blastocyst stage, still morulas for the most part - after a failed 1st IVF last month. So now the TWW - only 11 more days to go. lol I feel fine this time. Last month I think they were way off on the timing and the progesterone was merely postponing AF. It's a shame, we had two boy embryos lost because of it.   My advice - if you aren't sure, don't be afraid to question! They have a lot of patients, and spend less time with your chart than you would hope.

Thank you for welcoming me to your thread and answering my questions about maca and wheat grass. I'm taking a ton of supplements now and wasn't sure if I should try those two as well. I also go to acupuncture twice a week. Last month I herniate L-3 and I've recovered pretty well from that, I'm now just waiting on AF. A failed fet has screwed up my hormones so no af since Feb 19th.. Taking provera now, on day two and hopefully rid of my ovarian cyst I had last week.

I wish everyone the best of luck on getting BFP's! Together maybe we can increase our odds:)

Hi Everyone, Im currently on my 3dpo5dt, at blast stage also.. Had 2 put back in and this time was a fresh cycle. The last time was back in December and that was an FET cycle that failed due to blocked tubes that the Dr was faked out from. Previoius before that I had 2 HSG to diagnose the tubes but somehow they still showed that it wasn't blocked, thats why the DR went ahead and proceed with the FET, than it came back BFN and thats when they were curious into what was wrong with me and the DR decided to do a LAP and thats when we found out that they were fully blocked and had scared tissue covering my entire uterus.. Aside all of that we finally were able to get back on the wagon and start all over and this time we did a fresh cycle.. and transfer 2 embies again.. and I hope and pray that this time around they made it and will stick...and that this was the only issue we have and that it has been resolved.

No symptoms yet of course but like most of you iam on my 2ww and 11 more days to go as well..

I hope it's your turn for a BFP. I've had 5 surgeries gyn related since the age of 17. I think everything is finally under control on my end but we have infertility problems with both my dh and I. Was looking forward to starting my 2nd round of ivf I'm March but never got AF after a failed fet diagnosis onmy birthday. Last AF for me was Feb 19th. An ovarian cyst is stopping Af now, finished provera a few days ago so should get af any time now. Hope you ladies are having a wonderful holiday.

Am on lupron starts now, gearing up for FET, got to go for a scan on 4/11 to check the lining, this is my first FET and how cool it is, lesser meds,lesser shots, lesser scans, lesser blood draws :)

For me FET was sooo much easier! I'm still waiting on af before I can do stims. It's long overdue (2-19)

Hi Jackie what meds are you currently on? Are you doing a fresh or frozen transfer? Will this be your second one?

As soon as af shows here I will start stims. I missed an entire cycle already. All the ladies in the other group I was in have gotten their results already. Most of them are expecting which is great but I feel a little bummed out I couldn't try this last time. I know it all happens for a reason but it's still a little sad.

Don't be sad sis, God is watching over you and he will compensate you for the time you missed. It is not how far but how well. I will root and pray with you till you get your BFP this cycle. Take care dear.

Dont give up just yet.. Your af will come before you least expect it.. don't over stress yourself and just take it easy!

AF arrived today, started estrace tablets, next scan on 4/25. FET on 5/8, so far on track as per the plan. Hope that 1 frozie is my lil guy.

I just left my RE's office. My cysts are cleared and I get to start stims today! I will be using follistim and menopur again. I will have another scan and labs next Thursday to see how things are progressing. I feel like a little kid at Christmas getting to try again. Having pcos we dont get to try every month. I hope this month is all of our month for BFPs!

Love hearing your positive attitude and feeling grateful for the chance :) It reminds me to keep my chin up. Glad we are at the same stage and going through this together!
