BFN - Negative beta

well - I just got the call from my nurse - my beta was negative and i dont think i can do this again and again like some of you are strong enough to do.

Well, like I told secondivf2009.........God knows that if we had the extRa $$$$, DH & I would be attempting ivf/det #3 right now.  Please, pray for us as we pray for you all.  We need to be blessed with awesomely, great jobs in order to try again, this year.  Prayers to everyone on these threads and medical boards in all of your endeavors may you find peace, happiness, and joy, Amen.  O:-)

aww - i am so sorry!  this whole business really stinks doesnt it!?  I have three family members and three good friends preggers right now!  and two of the family members FAR from need a child - ever!  LOL - its hard!  I wish you and send you the strength to keep your head up and know that God does everything for a reason -

I am in MD and go to Shady Grove in Annapolis & Rockville - they are super.  I always see the same doc and nurse - If my 3 shots with the ins company dont pan out - we will be going out of pocket - Shady Grove has a Shared risk program - roughly $20000 - money back completely if you dont have a little one!

Thank you all for your sharing your courage with me.  Yes - hubby and I talked last evening and we decided to move forward - I start the birth control pills this saturday to start our next cycle.  believe it or not - i started AF this am already - just stopped the progesterone yesterday!  this was our 1st attempt - health insurance pays for first three attempts per live birth - after that we are on loan money!  which we cant afford to make payments till this summer.  we have been ttc for over 4 years - 1 mc, 3 rounds w/clomid, 3 IUIs, and this try.

secondivf2009 - i am so sorry to hear your news - it seems we share luck!  maybe the hpt was wrong... will you be going again?

Dont lose hope. I have been undergoing infertility treatments for the past 6 yrs. I underwent 3 clomid, 3 IUI and 8 IVF cycles. During my clomid and IUI cycles samething happened, the nurse would call me with a bad news. I used to cry a lot and that day I'll decide I'll never go for this again. But after few days, I'll start thinking about going for this again. I quit my job also for this. This continued for 2 yrs until I did my first IVF in 2005. I got pregnant in my first IVF but miscarried after 5 weeks. Totally I had 4 miscarriages out of 7 cycles. Now again I am pregnant for 8 weeks, u/s is good and baby's heart beat was 150 last week. I have confident that I'll carry this pregnancy to full term. So dont lose hope and it will work when everything is ok.

Sorry to hear the news.  My first cycle was also BFN and it took me 8 months to try it again. Please don't give up the was I see it if you have any left over snowbabies then you still have another chance.  After my loss I had my RE run every test known to man that could of been the cause of my loss and found out that I had fluid in my left tube that was toxic to the embryos, I had that tube removed in August and did my last transfer on Oct 14th last week.  Please don't give up.
