Bad ivf cycle??

I became an egg donor last year, I donated for the first time in october with no problems. They retrieved 9 eggs from me. I was choosen again last month and again went through the cycle. The lupron worked and made me produce 12 eggs, the medication that followed was my follistum pen and the low does hcg. I didn't respond to those meds and all but 4 eggs were absorbed, only 2 were ready and my cycle was cancelled. I am very worried about my health. I've heard a lot of mixed things about egg donation. I also got my tubes tied a few years ago and need to go through ivf myself to have a baby. I am wondering if I do go forward and spend thousands of dollars to try and conceive will this happen again during and ivf cycle or should I be ok? I'm also wonder why my body did this? Could I possibly have something wrong with me and should I be concerned.

To receive more of a response, you could put a heading like "1st Round of IVF 12 eggs produced, 2nd round only 4 anyone else have this"  and you may get more of a response.  Alot of time, the heading will change the activity on a post.  Let me know what you records say when you get them ok?

When you're a donor they really don't tell you much. They are going to mail me my records to take to my obgyn. I'm just really nervous and scared now that I won't be able to have another baby. :(

Wow! I'm stumped then.. I hope others chime in, but, I have never gone through the stimming process, so I really can offer any advice.  : (
What did the doctor say?  Did they take your FSH to see what it was to see if it had drastically changed??

The only thing I did differently this cycle was go tanning but they said that was fine and wouldn't do that.

Did you go to the same clinic you donated to the first time?  Did they change proticol?

I was happy to be a donor and would love to do it again and I'm so upset that this has happened. I would also like to conceive myself through ivf. :( I'm so sad and confused.
