Thank goodness i'm at school all day for next week studyig and working, cuz if not i'd be obsessed and online 24/7 haha! I do think that my mind is sorta playing with me cuz i feel diff things like today I smell everything and felt woozy but i think it's my mind imagining or hoping!? I will get excited on day 14 if i dont have AF. Then i may take an HPT but i'm not sure,i've heard to wait until about day 18 to know for sure. My dr told me that 3 wks after IUI is when i'll know. That seems like a long time dont you think?

Hello everyone I did my first IUI in january 2011 it did not work out I am 29 and I just did the second IUI on March 6th 2011 I am on my TWW I did get a lot of emotions due to meds I did manpur injectable and then I had the HCG trigger shot however today I have lots of heartburn and a funny taste in my mouth lots of bloating so its usual to get lots of false symptoms. But from what I have read you will really know if you are positive by the 14th day just keep busy and don't worry too much its a really emotional journey. Good luck to you and hope it all works out. Sending you super stickey baby dust SSBD

Hi Maddie,
I'm not sure if i responded to you or not? I'm new so i'm not familiar with checking or verifyign my emails or posts, lol.  I have resisted and not taken any HPT's ,i dont want to get dissapointed or too excited ,either way. I am not sure if i feel anything other than moodiness, sensitive nipples,cm discharge often, also felt some hotflashes/nausea but that went away. i had cramps off and on during weekend. I am 8day post IUI. i took clomid day 3-5 100mg daily and also had trigger shot 36hour pre IUI. that shot was given on friday 2/26. Any other tips/advice or info you have?Right now i dont know what to feel ,i just feel sort of emotionally drained to be honest with you. I am thinking positive but also planning in case it doesnt work out for next month. We did find out tht we have 2 trys of IVF under our insurance. So that does give me a bit of comfort of IUI's dont work out. Also i'm 39 so i realy want to get more aggressive. After my loss i took 3 yr off and i know that is awful but i was in a bad place. I am hoping now that God has our angel and he is sending down to us. I really apreciate your response,it helps to have a person to talk to and empathize.

Hi,
I had my first IUI in January which was not successful and plan to have my second in March. I know exactly how you feel about this whole process. At first I was scared, then excited, then I had a lot of pregnancy symptoms which turned out to just be side effects from all the fert meds I took. I just turned 41 and I am still hopeful, but unfortunately I have to go through the IUI stuff again.  The wait is difficult because you don't know how to act. The best thing to do is keep busy and keep your mind off of it as much as possible. Don't do HPT too early, they will just confuse you. I know it sounds easy to say, but I do know what you're going through. BTW, did you take any fertility meds or trigger shot?
