Thank you DrKaul for the information, i had an ultrasound done today I'm now 6 weeks, the Dr saw one sac but no heart beat, she said we will repeat in week and see.
My question is when can a heartbeat be detected by the ultrasound?

Hi there!

The beta-HCG levels are normal for a single pregnancy. A vaginal ultrasound can detect a pregnancy as early as 2 weeks post conception/ 4 weeks pregnancy, though 6 weeks pregnancy would be a more ideal time to perform an ultrasound scan.
Hope the information is helpful.

Take care!
