could i be infertile?

My partner and I have been ttc for about 8 months with no success I'm 26 and he is 28. My period has been irregular for some months now about 5-7 days later every month, I have no medical issues,  have not been stressing or haven't had any weight problems, I started my period today but ovulated about a week ago could this be a sign of infertility?

I have heard that it could take some time to get pregnant. Some people even take a year to conceive. But you could go to a fertility doctor to get tested. Good luck.
