Bleeding on day 8 of embryo transfer

Today is day 8 after I had a day 5 transfer of two blasts.  I now have brown/ red bleeding.  This is usually how my period starts out and I am very crampy.  Is this a sign of a failed IVF cycle?  I haven't had my pregnancy blood test yet.....feeling sad.

Yes. I am 12 weeks pregnant with twins.  For me, the bleeding was because of a subchorionic hemmorhage....aka "blood clot".  It was frightening because my husband and I were back and forth to the emergency room.  I really thought that I was having a miscarriage.  

They told me that it was a threatened miscarriage.  Then, a sac of red tissue came out of me, and I thought that it was one of the babies.  My husband scooped up the sac and put it in a baggy!  Then, we went back the emergency room.  

Fortunately, the doctor said that it was a good old fashioned blood clot, and the babies were fine.  

So, after a couple of months of bleeding and cramping......I am still pregnant with twins.  Again, I pray that everything is okay for you.  When do you go for your pregnancy test?

Did you end up getting pregnant (when you were bleeding)?

You can't be sure until you see a doctor. I bled for 2 months straight and had to wear a pad every day. I was also very crampy.  I was told that if you are soaking more than a pad an hour....there is cause for worry and to go the doctor.  

I know that it's hard, but our prayers are with you.

Yes, overnight it got way heavier.....I now had to wear a pad, as I don't know if I can wear tampons.

It could be implantation bleeding.  There is no way to know for sure.  Has it gotten heavier???
