I've never seen a RE just a OBGYN that also does infertility he recommends cd3-7. 6years ago i took clomid cd 5-9 which was suggested by another doc and now have a 5yr old boy, but it took me 6cycle of clomid to become pregnant when trying for my second i took clomid cd 3-7 and seemed to become pregnant easy but they resulted in 3 chemical pregnancy I decided to take a break and on my break got pregnant with my second son who is now two, now trying for my third and last baby and this happends so dont know what to do, dont really know what the difference is.

I took clomid last month from day 5-9 because of the timing of my RE appointment... I had 2 mature follies 24 and 18. This month I took it on day 3-7. What did your RE suggest?

I would wait untill next cycle, says 3-7 is usually given when you are not making and releasing eggs, days 5-9 is usually because you are just not releasing mature eggs, so I have heard anyway. But if you want to try days 5-9 it may work. I messed up once though and took it day 4-8 and I did not ovulate, but it could have just been because it was the first month on Clomid.
