mommyin10-  Oh I'm glad you are being seen every week.  That makes me feel better.  Those exercises don't seem quite right to me either.  Every baby book says to avoid exercises that make you tighten your abs after this far along...  things that make you go hmmmm.  They say we know what is best for ourselves based on intuition.  I think you should just listen to that.  I'm sleepy but I want to get some pictures of the work in the nursery and I am so hoping that it is done and ready by time the baby shower comes.  We'll see...

Thanks mommy! I can't believe I am 12 weeks already! I can't wait to go back to the dr and hear the heartbeat :)

I have to vent a little bit...Something upset me last night. My sisters oldest daughter is 20 and has a 1 year old.. her and her husband and the baby have been living with my mom and dad for a while till they get on their feet. Well I found out last night that she is trying for another baby....which is fine, but she is doing it for the wrong reason. She told someone she is going to get pregnant to take the highlight away from me? When did this become a competition? I am 27, I'm not pregnant to get attention or anything, I am pregnant because I want a baby! Further more, why keep expanding your family when you don't even have a place of your own? Grrrrr! It just really makes me mad.....She knows how much I have been through and yet has to be like that. I never make a big deal about being pregnant.....of course my mom and dad are excited, but all my siblings already have kids....I'm the only one left. I don't know, it was just really hurtful to know that she said something like that!

I read your post.  Hope you dont' mind...  I think that is really upsetting to hear about your neice.  People that have no problems getting pregnant\staying pregnant can be so insensitive to people like us.  I am having the same issue with my sister right now.  I guess we jus try to stay excited for ourselves.  WE DESERVE IT!  Plus try to remember that she is only 20 and that seems quite immature.  Who knows she may grow up and regret acting like that.  I agree about her expanding her family when it doesn't seem like she can take care of the one she has.  I have a real issue with that as well.  Her choice I guess.  Happy 12 weeks.  Just about the end of the first trimester and out of the "danger zone".  That was sooo exciting to me so Congrats!!!

mommyin10-  The baby shower is Jan 31st.  I will be 31 weeks by then... I mean WE will be 31 weeks by then!  :)  I am super excited about it and so is my mom.  She has gone crazy with decorations and what not.  I can't wait.  My sister that I gave a great shower to when my nephew was born is being a real toad about it all.  She barely wants to participate at all.  My feelings have been so hurt.  I spent so much money, time, and efforts on her and now she can barely bring balloons.  It's so sad to me.  It seems like the more you do for someone the less they appreciate it.  The outlaws didn't come to my step sons birthday party and he was upset about that and cried and my same sister who I have done EVERYTHING for couldn't even stay for cake.  I finally melted down and had a hard cry yesterday.  I'm not sure how to get over expecting her to want to do the same for me as I did for her.  At this point I really don't want anything from any of them.  I am just so sad about it all yet so excited for the shower.  I guess I am definetly a rollar coaster of emotions right now.  Darn hormones anyway!  :)  I'm going to get some pictures taken tonight and I'll post them for tomorrow, or at least I'll try.  This site seems to only let yo post one at a time.  Take Care, get your feet up.  I'll check back later...

Ad: I agree, that is really insensitive and immature...My cousin did that to her sister (in a different way...) - Cousin 2 was p/g and then about 3months later Cousin 1 found out she was p/g...Cousin 2 wouldn't let Cousin 1 tell any of the family for awhile b/c she wanted the limelight...I kid you not!!! At least you and DH are having your wonderful little bundle for all the right reasons and let that be enough for you and DH (I hope that sounds right....?). Plus, your baby would be born first lol! Happy 12wks!!! Woo-Hoo!!!

Not much new here...I didn't work on the nursery at all over the weekend - DH was away for the military and my cousin came down and stayed overnight with DS and I :-) It was nice! DS has really started to defy us, I'm not sure if he's really sensing that Peyton is coming or just the fact that he's 3 or a combination of both. It gets frustrating and sometimes I feel like all we do is butt heads...He's at daycare today so maybe he just needs a break from me lol.
I ordered the double stroller mid wk last wk (since we go a lot of places when the weather is nice...) and it arrived this morning already :-) I'll put that together later this wk or next week... Our 2 dogs need baths SOOOOOO bad! I want to take them to Petco but they need their updated rabies shot, and I want to bathe them before they go to the vet to get the shots lol...I will attempt to do it today. At least our master bath has an oversized walk in shower with a shower seat, so that'll make it a little easier. Well, I'm just kind of rambling, so I'll check in later!! Have a great day ladies!!!

dnikki: What kind of double stroller did you get? We've got ours picked out & ready to order :) The things I ordered from Babies r Us should be here Friday, so I'm excited to look through everything! We decided on a Graco play yard with twin bassinets to keep in our bedroom. That way, the babies will sleep with us & then we can take it to grandma's too. As far as our nursery goes, dh had to get the hallway prepared for flooring too, so it would all flow. The wood goes from where the hallway begins & through the babies' room. He's got a good portion done & it looks beautiful!!! (I took a quick peak!)

Thanks ladies for all the support. I just had to get it off my chest. It's always nice to be able to vent to a neutral party.

I can't wait to be out of the "danger zone", only a little while longer :) The time does go by faster than what you think. I go tomorrow for my blood work and my 1 hr glucose test....hope I can handle not eating breakfast in the morning....lol

sbumblebeeo: My parents had given us $500 for our anniversary in Dec to do whatever for the babies, so I used that at babies r us online to buy the Graco play yard w/twin bassinets, a blanket for each bassinet, onesies, socks, bottles, liners & bottle brush, diapers, hooded bath towels, a diaper genie & refill, lotion and head to toe wash, etc, etc :) There are still a lot of things we need, but I feel better havingvsome essentials :)

Mommyin10: I got the Graco Tango in the Tongo Duoglider stroller. I just got it put together - Not to hard but I did manage to mush my big toe lol...It seems really nice - It moves easily although it is just a little bulky - but with a double stroller, I think they're going to be! What's funny is that the stroller arrived before my nipple shields lol! The nursery is almost complete. I washed all the newborn clothes (I think lol) and the 0-3mo sleepers. All the burp cloths are washed as well as bibs. I do have a bunch of clothes left to go through and organize them by size now that I have some boxes :-) I also got the car seat and bases cleaned I just need to put the seat back together...I'm soooo ready for my appt tomorrow and see if they are going to do a weight check in the next couple of wks or not and also to see if her head is engaged yet!!

Well, as I told Mommyin10 I got the stroller together and the car seat and bases cleaned today. I called DH to tell him I made an appt. for the dogs on Thursday morning...I told him I was going to try to wash them and he wouldn't let me lol, which is just fine and dandy with me!! So he'll wash them either tonight or tomorrow...I did get to the chiropractor's today and my pelvis feels somewhat better for the moment. But DH and DS will be home any minute!! I'll check in later!!!

dnikki: That's good you got your stroller all set up :) Are the seats side by side or one in from of the other? The one we're getting is by Peg Perego & the seats are one in front of the other, but they can be rotated so that they're facing front, back or each other. I was planning to order it soon, but we'll order the car seats first. They're from the same company & the car seats fit on the chassis of the stroller, with the bases in the car.  I'm getting excited to get everything so we can play & get it all set :)  Can't wait to hear about your appt tomorrow! That would be great to find out how much she's weighing :) Have a great night!

Finally some work and some pictures are posted.  Man medhelp is sllloooowwwww to load!  The pictures make it look small but the room is 12x14 plus she has a HUGE closet.  It's bigger than mine....hmmm I wonder if  she'll share?!?!  Getting so excited about it regardless of our crappy family.

Hello :-) I'm back from my OB appt. Things look great and everything is still right on track. I asked him to check externally to see if she's engaged in my pelvis. He said her head is very low, but still floating - meaning she is not stuck in the pelvis yet lol. He said typically they do a weight check around 38wks if I haven't delivered yet. I don't start my weekly appt.'s until after my next vist which he wanted at 36 1/2 weeks. I told the nurse just to schedule me that Thursday when I hit exactly 37wks. So my next appt. is on the 28th at 920a.m. I'm going to have him check me for dilation then and if everything goes like it did with DS, then I'll have her just a couple of days later lol!!! I hoping that's how it goes!!! I'll check in later! have a great day!!

Okay quick update!!!  I will be going home tomorrow, finally!  I miss my hubby!   Also, I am officially cd3!  AF started on Sunday and is kicking my butt.  But at least it started.  If it doesn't stop by cd7 I will be calling the doctor to check on things again.  Until then, we will be charting BBT and trying naturally.

Mommyin10: I know! Thank you :-) I'm feeling pretty good - I'm tired today, I slept like junk last night...Hopefully I sleep better tonight. I went through more clothes this morning and put some of them in the wash. I sure don't feel like folding them right now though! My BH contractions got a little strong last night, but nothing consistent. At least I know my body is prepping for this lol!! My friend and her boy who is 9wks younger than DS and her new baby are coming down for a visit - they should be here within the hour. That'll keep DS busy for awhile lol! How's everything your way? Is it a regular OB appt. on Friday?

Mrspace: Glad you get to go home today and glad AF started! Now hopefully AF will stop within 7 days...How is everything else?

dnikki:  Friday is a follow-up with the nutrititionist and an appt with my ob.  My blood sugar's been high the majority of the time & I'm sticking with the diet, so I'm thinking I may have to start insulin,but we'll see.  My ob will do another fetal fibronectin test and do an exam.  Again, if it's positive, I'll head to the hospital, so we'll see.  Also, I'm wondering if I'm any more dilated than I was on the 31st.  I was already 1 cm then.  I'm glad my appt's coming up quickly.  I don't like the waiting in between :)  I hope you had a good day with your friend!

Hi ladies! Sorry i've been mia, but you know how it goes! :) Everything's great on my end. Adalynn's awake more now which is fun! She's so alert now and it's so much fun to just watch her take everything in. I can't believe she's 5 weeks old already! I have my "after baby" check up on the 21st and then Adalynn has her hip u/s on the 25th. So, guess who's ovulating?! ;) It's so crazy to think how fast your body just jumps right back into the swing of things after having a baby. I tell ya, it's kinda weird to know i'm ovulating and not go ttc after trying for so long ya know? Honestly, I didnt realize O was so close and we did have sex 2 days ago (for the first time since August! And we werent careful at all, but I was under the impression that you couldn't get pregnant if you were breastfeeding since my ob said you don't have a cycle while nursing??! I'm not worried about getting pregnant again or anything. I'm sure we'll be fine, and if we do again so quickly then we do! We'll just be more careful and avoid O week from now on! ;)

Mommyin10- 29 weeks tomorrow! Yay!!! ;) Congrats!! You're getting there! ;) I'm just so thankful that your little ones are so healthy and growing beautifully!! How's your new diet going? Have your blood sugar levels been averaging out yet? I know you were hoping so before your next appointment so you don't have to get on meds. So, have you ordered anymore baby things in the last few days? I know shopping online for the babies isn't as much fun as going out and buying things, but at least you are still able to shop that way! ;) I can't wait to see more pics of them! :)

Ad_06- Happy 12 weeks!! :) I'm so sorry about your neice saying that about you! That's awful! She's probably just unhappy in her own situation, but she definately shouldn't be talking like that, especially after everything you've been through. You deserve this, you deserve to be happy! Don't let anyone try and take that away from you! :)

Dnikki- Happy 35 weeks!! Gosh, almost there!!! :) That's just awesome and I'm sure you're just so ready! ;) Get ready to get NO sleep soon! lol!! :) I can't wait until she's here! I'm ready to see pics of her beautiful face! ;)
