Calling all Sept, and Oct. Mommies!!
So girls just thought maybe we could start a thread so we can enjoy the 9 or 8 months together! I just found out I'm preg. on Monday and I think my due date is Oct. 17th. I keep seeing so many BFP lately that I thought this might be a good idea...any future mommies care to chat?
My hormones are PSYCHO! I think I just might snap and slap a teenager! Some kid told me to shut up today and I just laughed - because if not I was going to snatch him up and rip him a new one. Lit into DH last night - kinda for a god reason, I just took it and went ballistic! YIKES! Anyone else feel like killing someone? UGHHHHH
Lisa: I know this is about 20 posts back, but yes, this will be my first child. It's my second pregnancy... I unfortunately lost the first one at 7 weeks this past November. I was devastated... we hadn't gotten to the levels of IVF yet, but just to get that one pregnancy we had to use injectables and artificial insemination (after over a year and a half of trying). Needless to say, when we got this BFP, we were beyond excited! I've never been happier and I haven't even met the little guy/girl yet (only through ultrasounds). =)

stillwaiting- I know what you mean about not wanting to work. I wish I didn't have to but I'm the bread winner. Not by much but I also do homecare for children with Autism and I make great money doing that. If Dh was to get a second job it wouldn't even come close to my second job. Right about now I'm only wanting one job. I think when the baby comes I will go out on leave for a year and just do homecare. It will be a stretch but I would like to spend the time with the baby. I don't know anything about Femara...is it like clomid? It sounds like your having twins to me.
scienceteacher- Your levels look good! I think my EDD is either the 20th or 21st. He really messed me up today changing me to 5 weeks 1 day...LOL. I don't have any nausea either. Same as you some cramping, sore bbs, not even that tired since I have this week off....and the dizziness has stopped for the time being.

Hey guys! Sorry I haven't been on for a few days. I went and saw my OB and RE yesterday :) It was a busy day - everyone wanted blood! I feel like a heroin addict - hell my arms look like I am one! Ugh - anyway, my numbers are still good. Since they caught my munchkin so early my numbers were: 9 dpo = 3.99, 11 dpo = 11.4, and 16 dpo =182. Go for my first scan by RE on the 11th to see baby. Hope all is good.
I am cramping a bit. No nausea yet - had it the whole time with DD. Just waiting for that to kick in :) Just tired..... How are you guys doing?

I was taking Femara and did the trigger shot, which the RE said increases chance of twins by 30%. I have a 6 year old son. Twins would be great because this is my last time around at 38! Plus, with daycare expenses I might be able to justify not working ;-)

Stillwaiting- I think your numbers sound high, twins maybe?? Were you taking clomid, IUI, IVF? I think my numbers are average. Twins would be awesome! Do you have any other children?
Lexima- I thought I had it all figured out too then when I was at the RE today he went into this whole thing about o'ing on different days and late implantation...I was confused. 4 weeks 2 days sounds awesome. The only thing I got out of my RE's speech is that he was pleased and doesn't seemed even a quarter as worried as I am...LOL. It all makes sense for me though b/c what I thought was 14DPO was probably like 12 or maybe even 11. I had my first beta at 3 weeks 6 days if he is correct.
chicky- I'm a teacher but believe me...this is so bad to say but I'm the spec. ed teacher in the room. I am always asking where commas go and how to spell certain things...LOL
I think I'm about a month behind you. I can't wait to hear about your appointment. NT scan is that an u/s?
