Thanks ladies, that makes more sense now. As for my RE I spoke with another women not my actual RE, she told me I didn't O at all this month and bumped up my clomid dose, so I assumed she doesn't expect me to O. I also have PCOS so I have no idea about my cycles before ttc. I have to use provera or prometruim to start my cycle, so I don't really have a 'usual' unfortunately. I have heard that some women with pcos and clomid O really late, like past CD20. I just hope I still have a chance this month.
I agree with Heather! the LH spikes right before ovulation and maybe day 15 is too early..I've heard that some women do ovulate slightly later than usual on Clomid...when do you ovulate usually?
a good way to check the LH surge at home is with the OPKs..which check the LH levels in the urine.
Hi loveamiracle! The CD21 test you mentioned is not for LH, but for progesterone, which goes up AFTER ovulation. LH, on the other hand spikes right BEFORE ovulation. So, in most cases, it's too late to test for LH on CD21. However, since LH only spikes right before ovulation, I would think you could still ovulate...especially since your test was on CD15. Did your RE make it seem like you wouldn't?
