I am also charting and it can be very confusing. I would suggest that you first continue BBT for a full month (even better 2 full months) and then go back and look for similarities in your cycles. It is helpful if you also use an OPK. If you can determine when you are ovulating then it will be easier to look at your temps and determine ovulation. Try going to fertilityfriend.com. It is a site that you can join for free and you insert your daily temps and they analyze your information. I use it all of the time. It will actually tell you when to have intercourse and when to test for pregnancy. It is very helpful. If you sign up now you can get a free VIP trial period. I know it is hard to wait for a full cycle before getting answer (I've been there) but it is really the only way to truly know your cycle. The best thing to do is to get to know your cycle, track your BBT, verify the BBT thru OPK, check your cervical mucas, and hope for the best. Good luck and I hope this helps.
I am totally with you! Mine are all over also...DH gets up way before me, so I finally started temping when his alarm goes off, but sometimes I am laying there in a half-sleep waiting to take it and I wonder how that effects the temp too. It's crazy....I sometimes wonder what the heck is going on with my temps. FF always says mine are "rocky". Grrrr, nothing is ever easy.
have you had your blood checked for resistence to insulin and your hormones checked? bcuz that happened with me, my numbers wee all over the place and i quit to. but found out that my hormones are out of wack and i am resistant to insulin. i am metformin and clomid right now, and go in for a scan next week.
During the follicular phase, wild swings can be pretty common. Estrogen is going crazy and can cause a chart to look like a 7.0 on the Richter Scale, lol. I have evil cats as well. They like to play wake me up from about 1am on. It doesn't seem to affect the overall picture on my charts. I'd keep at it and use the tracker on here. Then we fellow bbt'ers can look in when you need a second set of eyes. We love looking at charts :)
