Chinese Medicines when Using Crinone 8% for IVF Treatment

I have been doing IVF for 15 months for our second child and having problems keeping the embryo in place, now 3 early miscarriages, 1 blighted ovum and then just terminating the last one after we lost the heart beat at 7 weeks.

I have been having chinese herbs and acupuncture prior to the transfer.  I have thought about taking the chinese herbs after the transfer but wasn't sure if it is safe to take traditional chinese medicines when using the Crinone 8% gel.

Has anyone does this or know if it's ok.

Thanks

It's important to have a doctor familiar with the Chinese herbs or an herbologist familiar with IVF.  Most shouldn't be used in conjunction with the IVF meds, but I am not sure which ones specifically!

Acupuncture is a wonderful addition to the IVF process.  I started during my first attempt and fell so in love with it that I continued!  I also recommend regular chiropractic treatments...specific vertebrae are directly aligned with ovaries, uterus, etc.

Good luck!

Hmmm! I'm not really sure, but I think I would check with your doctor first...just in case.

Best of luck to you!
