Clomid

Hi, I have been on Clomid for a few months. AF was 9 days late this month. Yesterday I had brown blood only. Today I'm bleeding like I normally do when I come on. Do I count yesterday or today as CD 1?

TIA!

Oh, OK...sounds like you had an extra late ovulation last month then. Sometimes that happens. Hopefully this new cycle will be the one for you! Best of luck!

Thank you for your response!  I was expecting my period on the 27th based on my cycle length. It was very consistent after I first started taking the Clomid. It was probably more than 9 days, but it ended up starting on the 8th. I'm not sure what caused it to be so late. I usually take the ovulation tests throughout the month. I didn't get positives until 2 days before my period was supposed to start.

Hi Tia,

Most doctors consider the first day of normal flow as day 1.

...but I'm a little curious. When you say you were 9 days late...is that based on your regular cycle length (because clomid do tend to lengthen your cycle a bit), or is it based on days after ovulation? And if it's the latter, how many days past ovulation did you get your period?
