Concerned about AF getting lighter

I am wondering if I should be concerned.... I have noticed my periods have been getting lighter and lighter in the past year.  I used to have a 5 day period of bleeding and 2-3 days of spotting but now my bleeding only lasts 2 days and about 3-4 days of spotting (brown stuff)  Should I be concerned???  What does this mean?

Whew!  Thank you so much for your responses!  I was really worried and thinking a lighter period must mean i am getting less and less fertile!  I am very happy to hear that your Dr. said it is normal.  So if it doesnt affect my TTC then it's actually kind of nice and I will enjoy my shorter periods instead of worrying about it!  Thanks ladies!

I agree - mine have been all over the place - and especially with the TTC hormones it is usually lighter.

It's normal! Mine is shorter and less heavy now too. I asked my doctor about it, and he said it's normal for your period to change through the years, and that a short period does not have any affect of conceiving. So, you should be fine!
