Cost of injectables

Hey ladies,

I think my doctor will take me off clomid and start injectables.  Can someone share how much they spent per cycle.

Schraft's Pharmacy out of NJ is a HUGE discount pharmacy! Honestly, on my last cycle of IVF using donor egg, I only spent about $500 on my prescriptions (with my insurance copays), and paid for hers out of pocket which was only $1800.

It is a mail order pharmacy, but I cannot tell you how much $ I saved this go round. I also know that they have a "plan" where you pay $12 up front, and save btwn 10 and 20% off all medications. I'ts worth looking into for ANYONE who has to pay for the scripts!

My previous cycle, the meds came from Freedom Pharmacy as well, but I spent about $4000 total on just me that go round using them.

Just thought I'd give you another option!

I take follistim, you can get it (self pay) for as little (haha) 900$ with trigger shot per cycle. through schrafts pharmacy
Gonal-F is about 1100$ a cycle through freedom fertility farmacy
Bravelle is about $800 for 25 amps (buy 20, get 5 free). .... It seems like I'm going to need to use about 14 amps this cycle. Ovidrel is $65, I think.   Apothecary Pharmacy (on-line).

Here are a couple examples of drugs and also a few pharmacys the first two are mail order and the third is on-line.  You can also order fertility meds from great britian.  they are about 1/4 of the price as the u.s.
