LOL - twoweekwait.com has a great list of all of the abbreviations and I think one got started on this site, somewhere....

DH means Dear Husband, but sometimes Donor Husband might work :)
CD11 means the 11th day of your cycle with CD1 being the day your period starts
7DPO means 7 days past ovulation
During anovulatory cycles, I am not sure what indicates to your body to start your period, but I do know that during ovulatory cycles, it is your ovulation and LP that dictates your start of your period.  Hence, it is an old wives tale that if you are stressing about your period being late, it'll cause it to be late - it has already been 'decided' by that point, so it's actually not true!

Good luck and let us know if you have any other abbreviation questions! :)

So I'm new to all the shorthand too, I am learning though! I think cd11 would mean calander day 11 after AF starts, I think i hope if im wrong someone will let me know, I also hear DH alot I think that means Donor Husband?? My husband said i better not call him that! LOL. and as far as your period goes from that last post my period always starts from the first day of my last(my 28 day cycle) and it rarely varies and I only ovulate every three months or so, but AF is ALWAYS right on schedule( unfortunatly)!

AF is "Aunt Flo" - your period!! :)

Your Luteal Phase (LP) can vary each month (especially on Fertility medicine)...anywhere from 14-18 days is normal (I think those are the ranges) - it's one of the reasons that most books and websites will tell you to wait until your bbt is up for 18 days before testing - to rule out a long LP!!

The arrival of your period is based on when you ovulate, not when your last period happened!  Hope this helps!!

Good luck!

Hey!

Well, I noticed while I was on Clomid, AF came 3-4 days later than usual for me, and I am like clockwork with my cycles.  So I would expect for AF to be a little late for you too.  I think it is pretty common while on Clomid to have AF arrive later than usual.

Good luck to you!

I ovulated on the 11th and had the IUI on the 11th as well. What does AF mean? An CD11? So I should get my period on the 26th then? Have you tested yet? I wish you the best. Am I too early to test?

Did you Oed on 11th July or CD11?? If it is July 11th, then your AF is due 26th of July. Else your AF is due tomorrow.
